Help with Network Authentication

Tutorial for employees with e-mail

Username → Enter the same login as your institutional email (without @utfpr.edu.br).
Password → Enter the password for your institutional email.

The above steps didn't work

Possible causes:

  • The password may be incorrect. Remember that there are two passwords for the systems in UTFPR, one is used for the corporate/academic system and the other is used for the email, wireless and other authenticated services. Also check if Caps Lock is on or off.
  • The password may be blocked because there was some suspicious activity in your email.
  • You have not changed your password for more than a year. Access the UTFPR Webmail and change your password.

If you have forgotten your password or are suspicious that your account has been blocked, please contact COGETI-CT (Block N - Centro) with an identification document. If this is not the problem, we can make a more accurate diagnosis in person.

Tutorial for students

Username → Type “a” next to your registration number. Eg.: If your registration number is 2999999, the username will be a2999999.
Password → Enter the “Portal do Aluno” password.

The above steps didn't work

Possible causes:

  • You have never changed the temporary password generated by the system. It is necessary to make the exchange of the first password (or provisional password) provided for access to “Portal do Aluno”. Only with a password of its own will all systems be functional.
  • The password may be incorrect. Make sure Caps Lock is on or off. Also check that you can access “Portal do aluno”.

If you have forgotten your password, you can start the recovery procedure clicking here. You will need to use another form of Internet access outside the university to receive the password recovery emails.

Tutorial for trainees or scholarship holder

Enter the username and password you received when your registration was done.

The above steps did not work or I don't have an password

Possible causes:

  • You have never been registered. In this case, notify your internship supervisor (or advisor, in the case of scholarship holder) to open a ticket to COGETI-CT requesting a password to access the network.
  • Your user has expired (this happens when your user has been registered for over a year). Ask your supervisor to renew your password.
  • Your password is incorrect. If you have forgotten the password that was provided to you in the registration, you have two options: (1) go to COGETI-CT with an identification document to request the recovery of your password or (2) ask your supervisor to to open a ticket to COGETI-CT requesting the recovery of your password.

Tutorial for events

Find the event organization team and request the username and password available for the event.
Type this username and password on authentication page.

The above steps did not work

If the organizers don't have a password for the event, you can tell them that this can be requested to COGETI-CT on support system.

The above steps did not work or I don't have an password
